For university students in biochemistry / biology, this is an opportunity to do thesis work and develop new in vitro methodologies to study drug metabolism within AstraZeneca using state-of the art automated technologies.
Your roll
The primary objective of this study is to develop automated in vitro assays to characterise the enzyme kinetics of sulfotransferases, the enzymes responsible for the formation of sulphated metabolites, by using human tissue fractions from liver and lung as well as recombinant enzymes.
Your experience
You are a biology or chemistry master student, or alike, with a strong interest in biochemistry and enzyme kinetics.
