EAST-ADL tool integration

EAST-ADL is an architecture description language for describing the electronics and software in a modern car. An EAST-ADL model may for example describe an ABS system in a car.
Several modeling tools can be used to describe a system using EAST-ADL. It should be possible that these different modeling tools can exchange EAST-ADL models. For this reason a common XML-based exchange format for EAST-ADL has been defined.
Your task will be to develop a mapping between an existing modeling tool (based on UML and Profiles) and the XML-based exchange format. These mappings can be concisely specified by special languages, called model transformation languages.
This work will be performed in cooperation between KTH and VOLVO Technology. A performance based payment for the project work is available, up to 50.000 SEK. The project will last approx. 5 months and will be supervised by KTH.
