A learning project organization

OBS! ANSÖKNINGSTIDEN FÖR DETTA EXJOBB HAR LÖPT UT.
The purpose of this thesis project is to develop an inter-project feedback model for lessons learned to enable systematic feedback of lessons learned in past projects to future projects. Also, propose an implementation plan for Elektas product creation process.

In order to improve it is essential to learn from past experiences, see the PDCA cycle. This applies also for projects. However, a challenge is that a project is only a temporary organization that is dissolved once the project is completed. This means that projects much have to rely on the personal knowledge and experiences from the project members. At Elekta we gather lessons learned from our projects but how do we ensure that we actually learn from them, i.e. that the lessons are feed into new projects? Many companies face the same challenges and it is very interesting to do theoretical and empirical studies of what a project organization can do in order to use experiences from past projects in future projects?
