Terraplay Systems is a leading vendor of online gaming technology, with products covering a range of activities including billing, community, and multiplayer gaming. We have customers across the globe including UK, South Korea, and Italy.

Mobile services are Terraplays focus, and this market poses several issues with regard to network level connectivity. Terraplay is setting up a ex-jobber project to work with some of these issues. The project requires J2ME programming and a good knowledge of network protocols. The project will produce a test application which will determine the best network protocol and setting to use on a specific device.

Project members must be self sufficient and driven. A working ability in English is needed. Project members will be expected to travel and the project will end with a one month trip to test various networks within the European Union (Inter-rail tickets and a daily allowance will be paid).

Over 50% of ex-jobbers who have completed projects at Terraplay have been employed by Terraplay at the end of their project. A interesting and rewarding job awaits the right engineers.
