Master of Science Thesis Work – Model Based Development

QRtech has its focus on development and industrialization of electronic and software products and have developed products for both Swedish and international customers for the last 10 years.

We have the last 3 years developed an embedded platform that can be used in ad-vanced engineering projects or to fast prototyping. Now we want to take the next step with this platform by giving our developers an increased support through an improved development environment through installation wizards and a model based development approach.

The diploma work will focus to improvement the development environment by develop a tool chain that improves the development environment of this platform by defining methods and develop tools to support installation and configuration of the platform. The work shall also define methods and develop tools to enable a model based devel-opment approach for this platform. Examples of activities that we foresee in this diplo-ma work are:

-Development of installation programs and wizards
-Development of methods and tools for a model based development approach
-Definition and specification of user licenses and agreements

The required skill and interest covers PC-programming, server and network configura-tion, compilers and debuggers. Two Master of Science Diploma workers are needed for this work and their skill and interest might overlap or complement. The work is to be started in august 2007 and to be finished at the end of 2007.
