Market survey – automatic gas supply

The Linde Group is a world-leading industrial gases, medical gases and engineering company with around 50,000 employees working in more than 70 countries worldwide. The company has gases and engineering sales of around 12 billion euro per annum. The strategy of The Linde Group is geared towards earnings-based growth and focuses on the expansion of its international business with forward-looking products and services.

One of the services we offer is automatic gas supply, i.e. the customer doesn’t have to place an order for the gas, but we monitor the tank level, or cylinder stock, and replenish when necessary. For the customer, this means less worries, and more time to focus on their core business.

The diploma work’s aim is to compare Linde’s different European offers of automatic gas supply (including segmentation, pricing etc), and also look into what our competitors are doing. The result would be a best practice conclusion, and a recommendation on how to move from the existing solution to best practice.

- Suitable for one student from Industrial Engineering and Management (or similar)
