Do your thesis work at Global Technology Services within NASDAQ OMX
The Clearing team within business unit Global Technology Services is currently looking for one/two students for a Thesis Work.

You will work within System Development in the Genium INET clearing system with focus on risk management and more specifically our Cash Flow Margin method. It is a system used to calculate margin requirements for instruments based on a single yield curve and it will be your task to extend its functionalities to support general multi-yield curve based products. This assignment includes formulating and building a prototype where the validity, accuracy and efficiency of the method can be proved.
Qualifications required
• At least two years of University studies in Financial Mathematics and Computer Science or equivalent
• Mathematical skills
• Financial skills
• Excellent Excel skills
• Excellent language skills in written and spoken Swedish and English
• Knowledge of how to implement theory into efficient algorithms and computation strategy
• Experience from Linux and Java is qualifying

To suit this position you should be an enthusiastic learner and interested in keeping up with the latest methodologies and technologies within the knowledge area. A proven ability to successfully progress difficult problems in a systematically and innovative manner through to a conclusion is essential. The ideal candidate is a natural team player with good communication skills.
