Effective collaboration based on multi-touch technology

Collaboration between the users of ABB’s products is very important. Usually this collaboration is performed using papers and pencils or even traditional whiteboards. Many new interaction possibilities arise on the market using multi-touch technologies. One example of such technology is Microsoft Surface.
This thesis proposal targets collaboration between operators and aims to show how multi-touch technology could be used in future to provide enhanced possibilities for operators in the process automation domain – to become more effective in their daily work.
