Market Analysis of Competitive Intelligence software usage in larger Global Corporations
With the financial crisis fresh in mind, a lot of companies seemed to have been taken by surprise. Therefore, the main purpose of this project is to find out whether companies monitor their business landscape in a structured way. With a turbulent business landscape that is exposed to sudden changes, it is important to quickly access important and vital information about your competitors and your market in order to make better business decisions and improve current business decisions processes.
Comintell is therefore looking for students that are interested in conducting a market analysis of to what extent large global companies use competitive intelligence software to improve their decision making process.
The process aims to interview key persons in the strategic/market team in large corporations and map the process of day-to-day information gathering they use to make strategic decision. Is CI software used? If not, what is the reasoning behind it? If yes, how do they use it? What type of information does it include? What are the benefits of using one? Those are just some of the questions that need to be addressed.
The result will be a report that attend to the above mentioned questions, and give a good overview of the usage and benefits of using CI software in large corporations.
We are looking for students with a Masters degree in Marketing/Economics.
