Strategies for developing Rich Internet applications

Rich Internet application frameworks like Adobe Flex and Microsoft’s Silverlight have many advantages over pure web applications in terms of development effort and end user experience.
But due to the usual accessibility limitations (non searchable content and a required browser plug-in) they are not suitable for all types of applications.
We need one or two (15-30 hp) students to help us evaluate the different frameworks and implement a prototype of an advanced (in terms of GUI-functionality) web application in it.
