Capacitive measurement method on fluorescent lamps

OBS! ANSÖKNINGSTIDEN FÖR DETTA EXJOBB HAR LÖPT UT.
The goal of the Project is to develop a capacitive measurement method to measure the cathode voltage fall in fluorescent lamps. The student/students will get an opportunity to learn more about the physics behind fluorescent lamps, measurement methods and electrical design. A good start of the project could be with a literature survey, depending on the student’s background knowledge.
The project consists of several parts. The student/students needs to get a fundamental understanding for fluorescent lamps, build the equipment with help from our ideas, do measurements and tests, and last an evaluation of the method. In what areas is it useful, optimal method and what valuable information can it bring?
The result should be presented in a report and in a seminar.

The projekt is suitebal for one or two students with the alignment of Electro technique, technical physic or measuring technique. Thesis work in range of 10-20p
