Projection System Design

Optea is a company located at Teknikhöjden (Albano/Stockholm) developing innovating Projector Applications based on our own projectors.
For a new mobile projector application, we are looking for two enthusiastic students making their Master Thesis in respect to this application.
One focusing on the electronical system design, the other focusing on the software system design. Neither the electronics, nor the software goes too deep, it's more on a system level combining semi-finished components that we operate.

The task briefly is to make a prototype setup involving an embedded system, as could be: http://www.digitallogic.ch/english/products/datasheets/ecm_detail.asp?id=smartModule800PC/PCX
Together with our XLMulti projector and making it do very interesting things.
Also, if there is enough time, a gsm/gps system that communicates to the unit through the web (including a database), could be included.
The specific details of the assignment will be given to the right candidates.
